This policy explains, in plain language, when you can get your money back from us and when you cannot. It covers our Service Fee only — not the separate government fees you pay directly to gov.uk and VFS Global. We are an administrative-assistance service, not a law firm, and we sell a service, not a visa result.
UK Visa From Thailand provides administrative assistance only — document preparation, certified Thai→English translation and VFS Global appointment booking. We are not a law firm, are not registered with the UK Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, formerly OISC), and do not provide regulated immigration advice. We give general public information sourced from gov.uk and admin help only.
Please read this policy together with our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. By paying our Service Fee you agree to this policy.
Government and consular fees — including UKVI visa fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), and VFS Global service charges — are set by the government and by VFS, not by us. You pay them directly to gov.uk and VFS.
These government fees are generally non-refundable if your application is refused or withdrawn, regardless of the outcome. We cannot refund money we never received and have no control over.
Only UKVI can decide a visa application. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee approval. We cannot and do not guarantee any visa outcome, processing time, or appointment slot. You are paying for our service, not for a result.
Because the decision rests solely with UKVI and we sell a service, not a result, a visa refusal does not entitle you to a refund of our Service Fee where we have carried out the service properly.
Refunds of our Service Fee depend on how much work we have already done by the time we receive your cancellation request. The more work delivered, the less is refundable.
If your order combines several services, we calculate the refund for each part separately based on the stage each part has reached.
Once a certified translation has been produced, or once a VFS appointment slot has been booked or paid for, those costs are non-refundable. They cover work already completed and third-party costs we cannot recover.
To cancel, contact us at visa@ukvisafromthailand.com or via our LINE Official account (see our Contact page) and quote your order reference. Your refund is calculated using the stage we have reached at the time we receive your cancellation request — so please tell us as soon as you decide.
If we cancel for our own fault or inability to deliver the service, we will give you a fair, pro-rata refund for the part we did not complete.
If we end the service because of your breach, false or fraudulent documents, abuse, or failure to co-operate, no refund is due.
You are responsible for giving us information and documents that are true, accurate, complete and on time. We are not liable, and no refund is due, where a problem arises from inaccurate, incomplete, late, false or fraudulent information or documents you supplied (see Terms & Conditions, “Your obligation to provide accurate information”).
Email visa@ukvisafromthailand.com or message us on our LINE Official account (see our Contact page) with your order reference and the reason for your request. We aim to review and respond within 7 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Any currency-exchange differences or payment-provider fees may be deducted. For PromptPay or bank-transfer payments, we refund to the Thai bank account you tell us, after we have verified it belongs to you.
Please contact us first if you have any concern about a payment — most issues are resolved quickly. Starting a chargeback or payment dispute outside this policy, after we have delivered the service, is treated as a breach of these terms. We will contest chargebacks that are not legitimate, may suspend your service, and may report the matter to our payment processor.
Nothing in this policy removes any mandatory consumer rights you have under Thai law. Where Thai consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply. This policy is governed by the laws of Thailand.
